WORK

I'm Rey — I've been designing products for 7 years. Currently a Lead Designer at Dock.io

Proficient in designing mobile and web application that provide value to its customers. I've built 2 app that received a 4.5 rating both in the App Store and Play Store (42Race & Kalibrr).

Below are some of my recent projects.

Dock

Currently a Lead Designer at Dock, I lead the user experience design of our product like the mobile wallet and Dock API. I develop our marketing website with Webflow. I also help create illustrations and visuals for our blog and social media posts.

Dock provides a range of tools incorporating blockchain technology that enables businesses and developers to create verifiable credentials.

Rocket.chat

Worked on the design of Rocket.chat Omnichannel solutions. Design the user experience of canned response, live chat, video call and email channel.

I conduct user research and usability tests, documenting, and acting upon the results. Produce end to end product design across the spectrum of UX: user journeys, user flows, wireframes and prototypes.

42Race

One of the leading fitness and virtual events startup in Singapore where I help build a design a solution to inspire people start a healthy and active lifestyle.

I've led the design of the iOS, Android and web app. Creating user persona, talking to users, conducting usability test, creating prototype and helping developers realize the design.

Used game design concepts like social factor, competition, achievement and progress tracking. I also work on 42Race rebranding — from logo design, style guide and design system.

This app started only last year and has offered the user plenty to look forward to. The team has been very customer focused. They took my feedback seriously and worked tirelessly to evolve.

The app today has improved significantly since it launched. I’m looking forward to more virtual runs organised by 42race and see more connections between users around the world!

Conducted user interviews, usability test and other user research methods to validate design decisions. Present design and collaborate with different stakeholders to develop a product that provide value for the customer and the business.

Looking for jobs made easy. The features that enables you to contact the employers directly and be able to see the status of your application is it's edge among others. Highly recommended.

Frontline Heroes

A web application that showcase stories and sacrifices of our medical workers fighting Covid-19.  A personal project I design and develop using Glide, a no-code tool that uses Google Sheet as your database.

Beside learning how to use no-code tools, my goal is to create a special place for the frontline workers stories without the politics and noise of social media. It got featured in a few news outlet.

Catherine Cena

Built the website for the award-winning interior designer Catherine Cena. I tried to highlight the stunning photos of interior design and added some smooth transition to create a calm experience. Designed with Figma and developed with Webflow.
